50 Kw Solar rooftop net metering Project commissioned for S V Marine Corporation, Mangalore
M/s S V Marine Corporation, was looking for installing a On Grid Solar rooftop plant as the owner of S V Marine Corporation owner Mr. Sashidhar Bhat is a very keen enthusiast when it came to Solar products especially Solar rooftop plant. When we Kumble Solar had met the Owner of S V Marine Corporation, Mr. Sashidhar Bhat was very much convinced and was very positive when it came to installing the solar rooftop power plant. Thus he decided to install a 50 Kw solar rooftop on grid net metering plant on the premises of his Factory S V Marine Corporation.
The average monthly electricity unit consumption was about 6,500 to 7,000 units per month amounting to Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month. We Kumble solar energy solutions pvt ltd proposed an idea to install a 50 Kw Solar rooftop On grid net metering plant. 50 Kw Solar rooftop plant which will help our client save on the monthly electricity bill.
Thus we had proposed for a solar plant of 50 Kw which will produce:
- An average of 220 electricity Units per day.
- 6,600 electricity Units per month and 79,200 electricity units per year. Presently Industrial tariff is Rs. 7.6 per unit. Based on the net metering system where the electricity units produced from the solar plant will be used for self-consumption and export, here as the electricity bill for the electricity units consumed per month is Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, 50 Kw solar rooftop net metering plant is sufficing the need of the electricity units for our client. As the electricity units generated from the solar rooftop power plant is used mainly for self-consumption. In this way the Kumble Solar Energy solution Pvt Ltd is helping our client to go Green and help our client M/s S V Marine Corporation to save on their electricity bill.
- Monthly electricity savings in Rupees: Rs. 50,000.
- Yearly electricity savings in rupees: Rs. 6,00,000.
- Apart from savings in Electricity units, 60% Accelerated Deprecation in the very first year.
- Even considering 80% bank loan and 20% down payment @ an average of 10% interest rate Payback period < 3.5 years including Depreciation benefits, Electricity savings. From 4th year onwards our client M/s S V Marine Corporation will be getting free power from the solar plant.
