The 50 kw solar rooftop ongrid net metering plant will help our client generate his own power at rooftop and help our reduce on his electricity costs. 50 kw solar plant will generate 230 units per day/ 6,750 units per month.
Electricity tariff rate for industry for self consumption is 7.75 per unit. Hence monthly savings on electricity is 51,000 and a yearly savings 6,12,000.
1st year accelerated depreciation benefit 60 percent. Entire solar rooftop plant can be depreciated within first 3 to 4 years. Payback period less than 4 years.
